We are going to discuss the selected squad of the Indian team for the World Cup. As you might know, IPL is going on these days and the selection of many players depends on their IPL performance. How they perform can help them to get a place in the World Cup team. Now the wait is over, India has announced its T20 World Cup Squad. You can see below World Cup 2024 India squad:-
India Team T20 World Cup squad: Rohit Sharma (c), Hardik Pandya (vc), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant (wk), Sanju Samson (wk), Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah & Mohd. Siraj. This is Selected 15 Member Squad for WTC 2024.
Reserves: Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh, Khaleel Ahmed and Avesh Khan.
So this is the kind of team of Team India which will go on the World Cup tour this year. I don’t think there is any player left who has performed well in the IPL and has not got a place in the India World Cup team 2024. Looking at the squad, I am happy that the selection committee has given a chance to players like Sanju Samson, Yashavi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube to show their ability. I hope they will perform well in this World Cup.
So friend, this is our India team squad for the World Cup. Let us now talk about some such players whose performance was impressive in domestic and IPL but they did not get any place in the squad.
These players are :-
Ruturaj Gaikwad– What can I say about this player, what a good performance he has had so far in IPL and domestic matches. As far as I was concerned, he should have got a place in the team because he is a good player. Along with this
Bhuvneshwar Kumar– if we look at the recent form of both Siraj and Arshdeep has not been that much attractive in this IPL. Bhuvneshwar is in better form than him. Looking at his form, I felt that he could also be selected in the India T20 World Cup Squade.
Dinesh Karthik – I can’t say anything about this player you know very well he has emerged as a finisher this year. Looking at his form in the IPL it seems that there can be no better finisher for the team than him.
Sai Sudarshan – Sai is also performing well in IPL.
